We’re gonna start off by defrosting the bacon. First, place your frozen bacon in the air fryer at 350°F. ’Cook’ it for 5 minutes, making sure to flip at the three minute mark. After the five minutes is up, your bacon should be defrosted enough to begin cooking.
To start cooking your bacon, make sure that the bacon pieces are mostly separated. If possible, you wanna keep them from overlapping too much. It’s not super important because the bacon (like burgers) will shrink as they cook. Still, be very vigilant about not overloading your fryer.
After laying out your bacon slices appropriately (separate into batches if needed), set the air fryer to 400 °F and cook it for at least 8-10 minutes. If you want it crispier, cook for 10 minutes or even a little longer – just be sure to keep your eye on it. Prefer your bacon less crisp? Just be careful to not undercook it – look out for the tell-tale signs of undercooked bacon.
That’s it! Once your bacon is done to the level of crispiness your heart desires, you’re ready to plate up and serve it.
